1. Who We Are

Zynex Creatives F.Z.E ("we", "our", "us") is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We operate ZynexGo, a two-sided marketplace connecting freelancers with employers across the United Arab Emirates.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data needed to provide the ZynexGo service. The type of data collected depends on whether you are a Freelancer or an Employer.

2.2 Identity Verification Data

For gigs that require identity verification, employers may require a freelancer to upload their Emirates ID (EID). This is optional and only applies to specific gig listings that have the EID-required flag set by the employer.

• EID images are stored securely and are only accessible to the employer who posted the relevant gig.
• We do not process or extract data from ID documents automatically.

2.3 Usage & Activity Data

• Gigs posted, applied for, or confirmed
• Application status and attendance records
• Ratings and reviews given or received
• Freelancer level and performance history

2.4 Device & Technical Data

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token — for push notifications
• Device type and operating system version — for compatibility
• App version

2.5 Payment Data

Payment for gig postings (AED 49 per gig) is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment details on our servers. We receive a payment confirmation token from Stripe only.

2.6 Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your real-time GPS location
• We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone without explicit action from you
• We do not sell your data to advertisers
• We do not collect biometric data

ZynexGo uses the following trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Between freelancers and employers — when a freelancer applies for a gig, the employer sees their profile (name, skills, ratings). When selected, the employer sees contact details to coordinate.
• Service providers — Supabase, Firebase, and Stripe as described in Section 4.
• Legal obligations — if required by UAE law, court order, or a valid legal process, we may disclose data to authorities.
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance.

We never share your Emirates ID with third parties beyond the employer who specifically required it for a gig you applied to.

6. Data Retention

You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us or using the in-app account deletion option. Deletion is processed within 30 days.

7. Security

We take data security seriously and implement the following measures:

• All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Supabase database uses row-level security (RLS) so users can only access their own data
• Sensitive data (tokens, keys) is stored using device secure storage — never in plain text
• Emirates ID images are stored in access-controlled private storage buckets
• Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored by us

While we implement industry-standard security, no system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to security@zynexgo.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@zynexgo.com.

We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

ZynexGo is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at privacy@zynexgo.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send a push notification to all active users
• Show an in-app prompt asking you to review and accept the updated policy

Continued use of ZynexGo after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
